From July to September, the country beckons with a lineup of spectacular festivals and experiences that promise to captivate every traveller’s heart.

First up on the calendar is the Amazing Food Festival 2024. Organized on the theme “Good Food, Good Vibes,” the gastronomic showcase celebrates the unique flavours of Thai cuisine, curated by renowned chefs to promote sustainable tourism.

Featuring over 50 top restaurants from all 5 regions of Thailand, the festival will take place across 3 venues: Phuket Province from July 5-7, Chiang Mai Province from July 20-22, and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province from August 10-12.

For travellers seeking inner peace and a deeper understanding of spirituality, the Faith Project offers a unique journey into the religious and cultural richness of Thailand.

Set against the backdrop of Khon Kaen Province from July 19-21, this event is tailored to those intrigued by spiritual exploration and cultural immersion.

The project presents a series of on-ground activities that delve into the narratives of religion, cultural practices, customs, sacred artefacts, local wisdom, and diverse ceremonies rooted in the northeastern region of Thailand.

Highlights include guided pilgrimage routes, enchanting markets, and vibrant cultural performances featuring renowned artists.

Dive into Thailand’s beach culture and have fun at the Amazing Beach Life Festival! This vibrant festival invites you to experience soft adventures at various stunning seaside destinations.

With an array of beach life activities including water sports, live music, and local arts, it promises to entertain.

Enjoy the local product markets at four great locations: Rayong Province from July 12-14, Phang Nga Province from July 26-28, Phuket Province from August 2-4, and Songkhla Province from August 9-11.

The VIJIT 5 Regions event returns with an extraordinary showcase of light, sound, and the latest in technology.

This year, enjoy spectacular light displays, projection mapping, installation art, and cultural performances that highlight the beauty of local lifestyles, wisdom, and traditions across five regions.

The event will take place in Ubon Ratchathani Province from July 13-21, Chon Buri Province from July 20-28, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province from August 17-25, Phuket Province from August 24 to September 1, 2024, and Phitsanulok Province from September 7-15

The Amazing Muay Thai Experience delves into the origins of “Muay Thai,” a cultural heritage of Thailand, through the identities of four ancient Thai styles.

Discover the renowned techniques –  the heavy punches of Korat, the clever moves of Lop Buri, the elegant postures of Chaiya, and the swift techniques of Tha Sao.

The event will take place in various locations: Chaiya Muay Thai from August 2-4 at Chalerm Phrakiat 84th Anniversary Park, Surat Thani Province; Tha Sao Muay Thai from August 16-18 at Wat Yai Tha Sao, Uttaradit Province; Korat Muay Thai from September 6-8 at Phromthat Field, Nakhon Ratchasima Province; and Lop Buri Muay Thai from September 13-15 in Lop Buri Province.

The event features boxing competitions, auspicious Sak Yant tattoos, traditional Muay Thai games such as sea boxing and palm boxing, fun Muay Thai skill-building arcade games, boxing equipment stalls, Muay Thai courses, food stalls, and musical performances.

Music enthusiasts will find their groove at the Amazing Music Festival, which promises an explosion of happiness and fun from August 30 to September 1, in Chon Buri Province.

This grand event features Thai artists and internationally renowned performers delivering non-stop music and beats. Set against the vibrant backdrop of an Art Festival, it promises an unforgettable experience.

Additionally, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is supporting an array of exciting events across the country, organized by both public and private sectors. From July 3-7, gear up for the Bangsaen Grand Prix in Chon Buri Province, followed by the Bun Luang and Phi Ta Khon Festival from July 7-9 in Loei Province, known for its vibrant celebrations.

Moving into mid-July, Ubon Ratchathani Province hosts the Candle Festival from July 17-23, a mesmerizing display of intricate candle sculptures.

Meanwhile, the Pattaya Marathon takes place on July 20-21 along the scenic Pattaya City beach, offering runners a breathtaking seaside route.

Later in the month, from July 25-28, Songkhla Province lights up with the enchanting Lighting of Songkhla Lagoon, followed by “The Route 97” stand-up paddleboard competition from July 26-28 in Kanchanaburi Province.

Looking ahead, August brings adrenaline-pumping events such as the B-Quik Thailand Super Series from August 23-25 in Buri Ram Province and the PT Maxnitron Racing Series Round 2 from August 29 to September 1, also in Buri Ram.

Cycling enthusiasts can participate in the 21st Bhumibol Dam Cycling Event on August 24 in Tak Province, while surfers can catch the waves at the Boardriders Surf Festival from August 31 to September 1 in Phuket Province.

September kicks off with the traditional Phichit Long-Boat Racing for His Majesty the King’s Cup on September 2-3 in Phichit Province, followed by the Chiang Mai 22k on September 8, offering runners a scenic race through Chiang Mai Province’s picturesque landscapes.
